Chester le Street Steam Fair is over two days and has attractions including a funfair, stalls, beer tent and live music - as well as displays of vintage and working engines.

When is Chester le Street Steam Fair 2019?

It takes place over two days, Saturday and Sunday July 13-14. The steam fair start time is 10am. It closes at 5pm on Sunday but later on Saturday.

Where is Chester le Street Steam Fair happening?

Chester le Street Steam Fair is at the Lambton Park Estate in Chester le Street, off the A1(M) junction 63. There will be signposts directing visitors to the entrance, which is just off the A183 near the motorway roundabout, where there is a bridge into the Lambton Estate.

If travelling by bus, the nearest bus stop is Picktree Village, which is 12 minutes walk from the site.

How about Chester le Street Steam Fair parking?

Parking is free on the 50 acre field inside the estate, and will be signposted from the main road outside the Lambton Estate.

What are the Chester le Street Steam Fair attractions for 2019?

The vehicle displays include vintage and working engines, classic cars and motorbikes, and vintage trucks and tractors, as well as a chance to drive a traction engine. There is also a funfair, antiques stalls, craft and produce tent, live music, lawnmower racing, a beer tent and trade stalls.

How much do Chester le Street Steam Fair tickets cost?

Chester le Street Steam Fair tickets cost £10 adults, children five-15 and OAPs £5, and under fives free. Family tickets of two adults and two children cost £25.

Is there disabled access?

The steam fair takes place in a field, but it is all on one level. There will be disabled access toilets, and carers of disabled customers get half price entry when arriving with a full paying disabled customer.

How about Chester le Street Steam Fair camping?

Camping and caravan spots cost £70 for the weekend, from 12 noon on Friday July 12 to noon on Monday July 15. Camping tickets include a family ticket for both days. Extra adults cost £10 and extra children £5.
