#1: Full Moon Market, Durham
On Friday September 20, the monthly Durham Full Moon Market returns to the Marketplace. From 4-9pm, there'll be a selection of live music to keep you entertained and is family focused.
You can enjoy the music for free but if you are inclined to spend a little, then you could always purchase from one of the food stalls which in the past have included The Asian Project, The Greek Kitchen, The Green Guerrilla, Fat Hippo Fleet, Perissa, Kimchi Planet, Earth and Fire Pizza, The French Pop Up, The Belgian Waffle Tuk, Smokie Dokies, and Coffee Supreme.

#2: Locomotion Autumn Steam Gala, Shildon
The Autumn Steam Gala celebrates Locomotion's first 15 years. There'll be a range of displays and information stands by community and heritage railway groups, as well as hands-on activities providing fun for all the family.
#3: Weardale Railway, Bishop Auckland History and Heritage Festival
The Bishop Auckland History and Heritage Festival continues this weekend, and you can travel along 16 miles of heritage railway, from Bishop Auckland West Railway Station to Stanhope in Weardale. It's on Saturday and Sunday September 21-22.

#4: Hands-on Heritage Skills, Beamish
On Saturday and Sunday September 21-22, have a go at some traditional skills at Beamish in the 1940s Farm, 1800s area and 1900s Pit Village, as part of the Festival of Agriculture.
#5: Awesome Archers, Durham Oriental Museum
The crossbow was invented in China. Make your own bow and arrow at the Durham Oriental Museum on Saturday September 21, 1-3pm.
Awesome Archers is included in the Durham Oriental Museum admission price (£1.50 adults, 75p children and over 60s, £3.50 family of two adults and three children) and is generally suitable for children aged five to 11.
