Seaham Food Festival parking and road closures should be fairly easy to navigate thanks to a park and ride scheme. Here's what you need to know for 2019.

With 100 food stalls, celebrity chefs and lots of free cookery demonstrations, the Seaham seafront is likely to be pretty busy this weekend. You can read all the information about what's on and when in our Seaham Food Festival information guide.

If you're heading along this weekend, Seaham Food Festival parking has been provided out of town, with a regular park and ride service on both days. If you're planning on driving into the centre of Seaham, there are also road closures and diversions in place.

Seaham Food Festival parking

Seaham Food Festival parking has been provided at Spectrum Business Park (postcode SR7 7TT), just to the south of Seaham town centre. There will be signposts to the Spectrum Business Park park and ride on the main routes into Seaham.

Seaham car parks in the town centre itself will also be open, but they are expected to be busy.
