Polar Express Tanfield tickets have almost sold out for the December dates - but there are some left for the journeys in November.

We've manually gone through and counted up how many are left. At the time of writing, ExplorAR counted 122 children's Polar Express Tanfield tickets still available to buy on the website for December dates.

There were 63 left for Sunday December 1 and 59 for Saturday December 7. Adult Polar Express Tanfield tickets were more numerous however, with 690 still available across the two December dates.

Despite running nine services per day, the majority of December dates have sold out for Tanfield Railway's North Pole Express service that it puts on each year in the run up to Christmas. Of the eight services it put on for December 2019, there are only tickets left for two dates - Sunday December 1 and Saturday December 7.

However, if you're one of those lucky souls who gets the Christmas spirit early, then Polar Express Tanfield tickets for the three dates in November - Saturday and Sunday November 23 and 24, and Saturday November 30 - are more plentiful.

Below is the information you need if you want to book your place.

How do I book Polar Express Tanfield tickets?

Unless you can go to the Andrews House station in person, you'll have to do it online at the Tanfield Railway booking page as phone bookings aren't accepted.
