Head this way if you're looking for something to do this week that won't cost you a penny.
While there's plenty of things to do in Durham, weeks can get expensive if you're always forking out for tickets and days out. So how about some Durham events where you don't need to dip your hand in your pocket?
We've taken a look around and found a few free events in Durham this week.
Free Durham events this week #1: Northern Crafts, Witham
The Witham arts centre in Barnard Castle is hosting a craft sale with some fantastic locally-made items for sale, including jewellery, prints, jams, toys, cards, scarves, hats, chocolate, soaps, knitted-gifts, puzzles, wooden-gifts, bags, and vintage items. You're bound to find something you like amongst that little lot.
Northern Crafts takes place on Saturday March 9 at the Witham in Barnard Castle, and entry is free.
