The Durham candidates for the 2019 General Election have all been announced - here's who is standing in the areas of City of Durham, Bishop Auckland, Easington, North Durham, North West Durham and Sedgefield.

The General Election 2019 is fast approaching, with polling stations opening from 7am until 10pm on Thursday December 12. It will be only the second General Election to take place during December in the last 100 years.

The deadline to register to vote passed along with the postal vote deadline on November 26, and the deadline for proxy vote registration passes on Wednesday December 4 at 5pm.
