There are lots of Durham fireworks to see for Bonfire Night 2019, with free and paid-for displays across the county. Here are the firework displays including locations, ticket price, dates and times.

With November 5 falling on a Tuesday in 2019, many of the Durham firework displays are on at the weekend before.

But there are also fireworks on the day itself. Check out what's on for Bonfire Night 2019 below.

Durham fireworks on Friday November 1

Seaham

Where: Terrace Green and George Elmey Lifeboat Way, Seaham. The fireworks will be on the seafront area of Seaham, fired from the Seaham Dock Company site. Phone 0191 581 8034 for more details

Durham - St Cuthbert's Hospice 2019 Firework Spectacular

Where: Framwellgate School, Newton Drive, Durham DH1 5BQ. Phone 0191 386 1170 ext 5 for more details or to buy tickets. Free parking available at New College Durham. Contact 0191 386 1170 ext 5 if you require disabled parking facilities. Includes children's fairground rides, and hot food and drinks

When: Saturday November 2, gates open 6pm with fireworks at 7.30pm

Ticket price: Tickets bought in advance cost adults (16 and over) £5, children 15 and under £3, family (two adults, two children aged three to 15) £14, under twos free. The gate price is £5 (under twos free)

Durham fireworks on Sunday November 3

Beamish - Guy Fawkes Fireworks Extravaganza

Where: Beamish Hall Hotel, Beamish DH9 0YB. Includes flame cannon shows, fireworks, street food, interactive street theatre, fire poi dancers and fairground rides

When: Sunday November 3, gates 5pm for display at 6pm

Ticket price: £6, under threes free. Car parking is £5 per vehicle

Durham fireworks on Tuesday November 5

Beamish - details same as November 3

Peterlee - Peterlee Town Council Fireworks Display

Where: Helford Road Playing Fields, Peterlee. Includes funfair rides and children's entertainment before the display. Display is low noise. The Pavilion will be open for food and refreshments. Phone 0191 586 2491 for more information.

When: Tuesday November 5, gates 5.30pm for display at 6.30pm

Ticket price: Free

Durham - Aykley Heads firework display

Where: Aykley Heads, Durham DH1 5TT. In aid of Durham Agency Against Crime and the Firefighters Charity. Refreshments and funfair available. Parking available at at County Hall and Blue Badge parking at the Rivergreen Centre.

When: Tuesday November 5, gates 5pm for display at 7pm

Ticket price: Advanced ticket prices (search for Aykley Heads Fireworks on eventbrite.co.uk) are £4, under fives free, £12 group ticket (four people). On the door ticket prices are £5, under fives free, and no group tickets.
