Crook Hall near the centre of Durham is holding a special Fathers Day meal deal. On Fathers Day itself - Sunday June 16 between 12-3.30pm - Crook Hall is holding Fathers Day afternoon teas, either the classic, or a ploughman's version.
Crook Hall Fathers Day afternoon tea costs £24.50 per adult and £12 per child. There's also a tipsy afternoon tea for £32, which includes a cocktail. Prebooking is essential, on 0191 384 8028.
Durham Fathers Day meal offer #3: Maximos Italian
Maximos Italian at the Old Brewery in Castle Eden is offering a Fathers Day menu which includes items including Italian sausage, steak burger and sirloin. It costs £16.50 for two courses and £19.50 for three courses; you can see the menu here.
Durham Fathers Day meal offer #4: Wynyard Hall Ale Trail
The Fathers Day Wynyard Hall Ale Trail offers beers for dad and games for the children. Running on Sunday June 16 from 12-4pm, the Father's Day Ale Trail takes place in the Wynyard Hall gardens and parkland. There are beers and food available to buy, and family activities including games and facepainting.
The full Wynyard Hall Fathers Day Ale Trail is three kilometres. Entry costs £5.50 per adult and £3 per child, with drinks excluded. You can book on the website.
There's also a Wynyard Hall Fathers Day meal offer. Taking place on Sunday June 16 from 12pm, the Sunday roast costs £30 for adults and £15 for children. You can book on 01740 644811, option 3.
Durham Fathers Day meal offer #5: South Causey Inn
The South Causey Inn Fathers Day meal is either a la carte or a carvery meal. You can book tables at 12pm, 12.15pm or 12.30pm for the carvery two course meal, or 11.30am, 12pm or 12.30pm for the three course a la carte menu.
The carvery costs £19.95 for adults and £11.45 for children. The a la carte menu costs £29.95 and £19.95 for children. You can book by contacting the South Causey Inn on 01207 235555.

Durham Fathers Day meal offer #6: Walworth Castle
Walworth Castle near Darlington is offering three Fathers Day meal ideas: a carvery, a three course lunch in the 1189 bar and kitchen, and a gentleman's afternoon tea, which can be followed with a stroll around the grounds.
The Walworth Castle Fathers Day carvery runs from 12-3pm on Sunday June 16, and costs £12 per person. The three course meal is £21 and £12 for under 10s. The Walworth Castle Gentleman's afternoon tea is £18.95 and includes a 'twist' on the usual afternoon tea.

Lumley Castle Fathers Day meal takes place on Sunday June 16 and is a three course lunch. It costs £29.95 for adults and £16.95 for children. You can book it on the booking page.
