Many venues across Durham have got activities for children on most weeks, suitable for children at a range of different ages. Take a look below and see what will keep the children happy.

#1: Park Explorers - Step into Spring

Head to Chester le Street to explore the best of the outdoors with some nature-inspired activities. Taking place in Chester le Street's Riverside Park on Saturday April 6 at 1.30-3pm, you can discover Spring with a variety of 'fun nature activities' and arts and crafts.

#2: Raby Castle Easter children's tour

Raby Castle Easter trails will take place throughout the Durham school holidays. The popular Raby Castle guide will see interactive children's tours taking place every Wednesday, Friday and Saturday throughout the Durham Easter holidays, from April 6 until April 22. Children can enjoy finding out about how Raby Castle would have been defended when attacked, and learn about what it was like to be knighted.

#3: Bounding Bunnies Easter Trail, Wharton Park

Wharton Park next to Durham railway station near the centre of town is hosting a Bounding Bunnies Easter Trail. Help to find the Easter Bunny's friends, who are lost in the park! Complete the trail and collect a sticker.

It costs £1 per trail sheet which can be purchased from the cafe during opening hours from April 6 throughout the Easter holidays. Call 03000 262 655 for more information.
