The Durham Easter Bank Holiday weather forecast is pretty important, because for many of us it's going to decide how we spend our last days of freedom before returning to school or work.

A mixed bag, to be honest. We're looking at some great weather for Good Friday and Saturday, then decent dry weather for Easter Sunday itself. But Easter Monday looks like rain in Durham, at least for the morning and evening.
So when is the best Durham weather at Easter?
Good Friday and Saturday look like the best days, so if you're planning any bracing County Durham Easter walks, then aim for those two days.
Good Friday weather in Durham
According to BBC weather, Good Friday is cloudy bright in the morning, then full sun from 3pm onwards. The temperature is actually forecast to get up to a zip-loosening 17°C, and only a gently breeze, so it should be lovely.

Easter Saturday weather in Durham
Even warmer! With little chance of rain and a very light breeze, it's going to be full sun from midday onwards, with temperatures reaching a summer-like 20°C.
Easter Sunday weather in Durham
Not quite as good, but still decent given that we live in northern England. It's cloudy bright for most of the day, reaching 16°C in the afternoon. The breeze is slightly stronger, but still nothing to worry Dorothy and Toto, and there's little chance of rain.

Easter Monday weather in Durham
This is the day that lets the Durham Easter Bank Holiday down a bit. Expect rain until early afternoon (about 1pm), when it'll change to sunny intervals until the rain returns at about 8pm. There's also going to be a moderate breeze.
